WASHINGTON (SBG) – This a-meow-zing story will make you do a double take.

A family in Oregon couldn't believe it when their cat gave birth to a kitten with two faces. Kyla King told CNN that she noticed what she called "6-1/3 kitty cats" when peeking into the litter for the first time.

The King family affectionately named the animal "Biscuits and Gravy."

According to CNN, two-faced cats are known as "Janus" cats after the Roman god Janus, who was depicted with one face looking into the past and one looking into the future.

The coming days may be rough for the little kitten, but King says she and her family are doing the best they can to care of it.

“There’s not much medically they can do,” said King. “I can just try to make sure it’s eating because it doesn’t really know how to nurse properly because it has two mouths.”

People have reached out about adopting Biscuits and Gravy, but the King family says they plan on keeping it.
